Mood:  bright
Topic: Each day

                                                    SUNRISE

Each sunrise brings a brand new day
For all to enjoy and another chance to say,
Just how much we love the one's
so deep down in our souls,
Yes another day to show this Love that it is we hold,
Through laughter tears and songs
our voices let them know,
This Love is for them to keep
and to never let it go,
So with each new sunrise
we should pray to the Lord above,
For being blessed with one more day
to be with those we Love...

Written for and dedicated to Suzan Joy Bowser who truly knows the joys and the sorrows that we may have on any new day...
I truly Love you Suzan and hope you are happy for all the days to come...

All For You
Mood:  lyrical
Topic: May Fest

Life can often give

that you don't wish to take,

Yet now has this to offer

in a special way,

For your listening pleasure,

There's love music in the air,

All because it's music

that you'll love to hear,

So kickback, relax,

Maybe have a brew or two,

And know that here right now,

This show is all for you...

You and Me
Mood:  quizzical
Now Playing: Written but not needed for the show

Now why is that,

when we're young

life really seems like a whole lot of fun,

running and jumping

we'd dance as we played,

Just living to the fullest most every day,

Yet as we grow older

it gets put to the side,

There's always something we have to abide,

So why does the fun

sometimes seem to stop,

Now that we're as old

as dear old pop,

Why is it that we can't continue to be,

just a couple of kids,

You and me...

Jungle Gym
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Written for the show, Circumstantial Playground

Hello Love

Just letting you know,

I'm off today with no place to go,

So I thought I'd go hang

with our old friend

you remember,

Old Jungle Gym,

He used to take us flying so high

like a couple of birds up in the sky,

We'd sing we'd laugh and have so much fun

then hit the ground and start to run,

Oh we never wanted our play to end,

Just hanging onto,

Old Jungle Gym...

Mood:  cool

Topic: The way to live

Life is a journey

with many ways to go,

some take the hard one

the only way they know,

Yet all have the means

to pave their own way,

By taking control of each and every day,

by not loosing sight

of what's in our soul,

the happiness we give

to all that we know,

By sharing the love for life

as we grow old,

Reassuring to all,

That we're stinn in control...

Circumstantial Evidence
Mood:  blue
Now Playing: Written for the show, Circumstantial Playground

When do the circumstances become evident

the life that we live is not we expected,

while sitting alone with tears in our eyes

crying out loud why-o-why,

and placing the blam on all but ourselves

it couldn't be me for I've done my best,

Perhaps that's the time to dry up the tears

to have a good look at all of the years,

to the circumstantial evidence we have in our hands,

to all we've met that we loved or we feared

to those we did wrong and those we revered,

to the things that we said and all that we did,

Maybe then it will become very clear,

It''s life's circumstances that have brought us all here...

Multi Shaded Lady
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: Written for the show, Circumstantial Playground

I'd like to tell you something

that is ages old,

The many shades of a woman

some I'm sure you'll know,

With love for life and happiness

she glows from head to toe,

as she spreads her joy

to everyone she knows,

The tears that ruin her makeup

whenever she's feeling sad,

or then the hellfire fury

when she gets really mad,

With the voice of an Angel

she can melt a stone cold heart,

and that cry of a Banshee

when the damn car won't start,

asking where you're going

as you open the bathroom door,

she's that multi shaded lady,

who could ask for anymore...

Grains of Time
Mood:  quizzical
Now Playing: Written for the show, Circumstantial Playground

In a sandbox

I sit here and play,

When a thought comes to mind

a profound one I'd say,

Humanity it seems is like the grains of sand

that I hold here in the palm of my hand,

Though we are many and as close as we can be

when the wind blows strong

it will set us free,

To roll on and on to go where we may,

and perhaps wind up in this sandbox today....

Buddha Way

Topic: The way to live

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo

Something for all to never let go,

These are words from far in the past

with a meaning so strong it will always last,

Or cause and effect in simpler terms

an ultimate truth in this universe,

Very profound yet easy to learn,

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo

Another aspect of the karma we know,

For everything starts from deep within

and the way of the Buddha

that's where to begin...

Where Has It Gone
Mood:  blue

Where has the love gone that I once knew,

The sweet blissfull joy I had

That's left me here so blue,

Like a soft rose petal just blowing in the wind

leaving me standing with a hurt so deep within,

Where has the love gone that was promised till the end

Oh how I long for it to hold my heart again,

But now the love is gone and my tears they bear the pain

Perhaps one day it will return to take it all away,

Yet until then all I can ask is,

Where has it gone...

Oily,

From my heart today...

How To Show You
Mood:  amorous

How do I show I love you

when the words are not enough,

To hold you, kiss you and hug you

then ask you for your trust,

When I say it I really mean it

and yet it's so much more,

It's not just the words that are spoken,

There's feelings so deep inside

which can't always be described

with three little words alone,

Yet to show it not just say it

that's what love's about,

And how can I show at times

what words don't seem to express,

The joy and thrill of happiness

to see you when you smile,

The look in your eyes when you laugh

and your beauty so deep inside,

Those things right there can make me

want to get right up and fly,

I see it on your face even though

You sometimes break down and cry,

Tell me is it possible

that it's something that I've done

or something that I didn't  though,

I think I always show you the feelings that I have,

Or is it only words you hear

and not what's meant to be said,

No words just don't seem to show you

my feelings way deep inside,

At least not always in love so,

How do I show you...

No Angel
Mood:  quizzical

I ride a dark horse but am no angel it seems

For no wants to stay here

in this wonderful place with me,

So what can I do but ride on alone

Searching for that special one

Who'll keep me for her own...

Missing You
Mood:  sad

Karen Jo and Alan

There's something you should know,

That is we're going to miss you

as you have to go,

On your new adventures

accross the big old pond,

Yet in our hearts you'll always be

as you sing your beautiful songs,

And we'll always remember

the smiles upon your face

that brought us so much happiness

each and every day,

Though your journeys may take you

oh so far away,

The love we shared together

that will always stay,

No we won't say goodbye

to you or the kids either,

Instead we'll say a little so long,

And we'll see you later,

All our love to you both,

And the kids too.

That I Am
Mood:  party time!

I was born in the summer

57 was the year,

I was weaned at an early age

then started drinking  beer,

Well right now you're sayin

that feller's full of it,

And oh yes that I am

So this ya gotta hear,

Twenty four hours in a day

and twenty four beers in a case,

It don't take long to figure out

that full of it I am.

Your Laugh
Mood:  happy

To hear your laugh it warms my heart  there's joy all in the air,

Your love for life and happiness there's no sound to which compare,

To hear you laugh with all that joy puts a smile upon my face,

Your laugh it has a special place so deep within my heart,

And on that note I'll leave these words, You and I shall never part,

I thank you now for all your love and your beautiful laugh.

Dedicated to and written for a beautiful woman who shall forever hold a place in my heart and my love, Shannon M Scully.  May she sail through all life's little storms and arrive safely in a sunshining port.

On the Green
Mood:  lucky

I live in a place where we really all should be

A little back street called Saint George's Green,

And like that old fable it's where dragons are tamed

Life's old dragons that come into play,

Lost loves, lost hopes, and yes even dreams,

We strive to keep all that here on Saint George's Green,

Life is harsh, sometimes bitter and not always what it seems,

Yet here life's love and happiness  grows strong, it redeem's,

Here in this place on Saint George's Green,

For those living here we're a family you see,

Where life's big old dragons are conquered on,

Saint George's Green...

In The Wind written by oily jack 1980
Mood:  quizzical

These are restless times I feel

Without your love to keep me still,

The winds are calling from far away

Trying so hard to lead me astray,

I hear them calling I feel their pull,

And if, If I only could,

I'd mount my chariot of chrome and steel

Where once again these winds I'd feel,

Dancing and licking about my face

Carrying me home to my place,

In the wind.
